SHADES OF BLUE is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to mentoring, tutoring, counseling, and arranging referrals for young people who desire to pursue STEM careers. Although SHADES OF BLUE primarily focuses on aviation and aerospace, the same level of assistance is available to all students.

Within the organization are numerous professionals “Subject Matter Experts” who provide a support system for mentoring and job placement that will maximize the probability of success of the students who choose a career in STEM – related fields.

SHADES OF BLUE has developed a system to identify and monitor students from elementary school through college. In addition, SHADES OF BLUE has developed partnerships and strong relationships with many businesses and educational groups within the STEM oriented fields, who are able to provide graduates with potential future employment and/or educational opportunities. They believe as we do, that as leaders, we need to help and assist in setting early educational paths for our youth that adhere to our dedicated focus of encouraging kids to enter the aerospace, aviation and scientific career fields with a passion that deserves our very best effort.

We wish to invite all school districts to participate with exciting questions and comments.

Success in our mission is to focus on the education of our students nationwide and globally in the areas of aeronautics, aviation and science depends on support and contributions from individuals and organizations that understand these efforts will positively impact the future of our youth.
