PURPOSE OF THE AIRLINE SYMPOSIUM

Shades of Blue is preparing the next generation of aviation professionals—from pilots to aircraft mechanics and technicians to flight attendants.—to meet the future needs of the airline industry.

According to airline industry projections, in the next 25 years there will be a worldwide shortage:

  • 804,000 pilots
  • 914,000 flight attendants
  • 769,000 aircraft mechanics and technicians

SHADES OF BLUE is dedicated to developing the future workforce and currently working to fulfill the need for aviation and astronaut engineer positions. Our goal is to help fulfill the current and future airline employee shortages, thus creating a sustainable flow of qualified candidates into the employee pipeline.

In further pursuit of this goal, Shades of Blue is planning to host an inaugural 2023 Airline Symposium in different regions across the U.S. (Northwest, Southwest, Central, and Southeast) in multiple venues in each region.

The Airline Symposium will serve two main purposes:

  • Airline personnel will be able to meet and/or recruit interested candidates on-site.
  • Individuals interested in aviation and aeronautics will receive information on the variety of careers available and qualification requirements.
